613.418

613.418 explores urgency and resistance. Performed at Bains Publics on the one-year mark of the genocide in Gaza, it began with the Dela Peña soaking their clothes in blood and crawling across the venue floor, leaving visceral imprints of the body. While moving through the space, she recited the phone numbers of Justin Trudeau, Mélanie Joly, and François Legault, urging the audience to call for a ceasefire. The performance shifted outside, concluding in front of the Canadian Armed Forces recruitment center.

This juxtaposition of intimate vulnerability and institutional critique highlighted the complicity of power in cycles of violence. By staining the floor with their movements and confronting a militaristic space, 613.418 transformed a site of recruitment into one of dissent, urging collective action and public accountability.
